In 2011 we have built and installed two shaker style wardrobes painted in white egg shell and one wardrobe in solid American White Oak, also we have designed and supplied a porch fit out in OAK encompassing bench to sit on whilst changing your shoes, a cupboard for coats and two french doors leading back into the house.  We have also fitted a new kitchen for a young and growing family, installed several hardwood floors, updated a bathroom in a bungalow with units supplied from Howdens.  There have been many doors supplied and fitted along with the steady stream of support to local builders taking on all aspects from pitching roofs to fitting internal doors, skirtings and architraves!

Currently we are building two "old fashioned" school desks for a boy and a girl to do their homework on.  They will be made in beech and hopefully put to good use!

An Edwardian door is under renovation. 

It was salvaged when we replaced with like for like design but in solid Oak.  Once we have restored this door it will be offered for sale.  Its made of solid pine and here is a snap showing what it looks like.  The snap is only a camera phone pic whilst still insitu.  Once renovation is complete it will be stripped back to bare wood, treated for rot and mould and all existing holes filled with new timber.  Please email enquiries.

 

Blanket box in Maple/ Oak

We are speculatively building new furniture pieces all the time.  This is a blanket box with toungue and groove panels and solid oak frame.  Its early stages in construction process at the moment but as we get closer to the finish line I will put up a picture.  Final finish is natural oil.  We hope to complete this piece before christmas. Estimated cost is £600.

 

Door screen

I have just fitted a door screen which replaced patio doors and formed a much more inviting partition between a living room and play room.  The play room was part of a new build extension which we did all the internal carpentry work for.  For this job, there was not a suitable frame on the market.  We had the doors but had to make up the frame on site.  Each door also had to be reduced and a rebate created so that the doors closed well together without leaving a big gap!

Extension roof

We have just grafted onto a existing hipped roof to cover a large extension and are about to move onto the internal work.  Our extensive experience in hand cut roofing means we can deal with any kind of roofing project.

2 bespoke windows & french door set

Jamie is fitting a window he has made. He is the newest apprentice on the business and is adapting very well to a live as a joiner having previously served as a soldier.
